Last evening, several members of our OFS fraternity of St. John Capistrano joined with another fraternity in town, St. Michael the Archangel, for the annual celebration of the Transitus of our Holy Father Francis into eternal life. It was a beautiful experience of fraternal life. Since the Capuchins have left our diocese, we have been missing the presence of the friars in our midst. St. Michael the Archangel fraternity meets in a parish staffed by TORs, and their spiritual assistant gave the homily at the Transitus. It was wonderful to experience that friarly presence again!
